Just after the mountain top villages while on the way from Heraklion to Malata I saw this amazing view with what I believe is a farmhouse on the edge of a cliff.. Would likely be even better during sunset.

(I'm not 100% sure exactly where #ontheroad this view is so placed the marker where I think it was)

"We’ve been traveling in Greece for a month and this stay has been the most amazing. The host has thought of every luxury and convenience. From the private pool to the high-end finish out of the houses, it is just stunning. The kitchen is so well stocked to make anything. "We really enjoyed the property and the gracious owner. He provided a list of local restaurants for excellent home style cooking just like YiaYia would make. Every option was perfect. The property was extremely clean and beautifully situated. The pool Was very clean and refreshing, especially at the end of the day. Location is close to beaches and Heraklion We would return. "
