"This was a delightful guesthouse in a great location. Each room is themed to a classic movie and director (we were on the top floor in the Vertigo room!) and the rooms are comfortable and clean. If you don’t mind climbing stairs, the view is amazing."

"Clean, comfortable and great location"

"Almarela apartments was very cute and spacious. It was not in the middle of all the sites but close enough to most places where walking was very doable. I would recommend this spot if you’re staying in Porto."

"Prachtig hotel overal dichtbij super"

"Wish there was a curtain between the toilet & bathroom. Went with friends, needed little more privacy. Felt the bathroom area was little too open. Maybe it’s just our room ( room #2)"

"very dirty and smells we had to changed the room"

"This hotel is ideally located and decorated beautifully throughout. We had a great 5 day stay here and our room was comfortable and very well equipped. The only small issue was communication (its a self check-in/out), but it didn't impact our stay very much. We would definitely stay here again and you can tell that a lot of thought has been put into making this a nice place to explore the city from!"

"Clean room with comfortable bed. Quiet. Breakfast was varied and good. Location was very convenient."

"The apartment was in a great location right beside Sao Bento train station. It was tastefully designed with two little balconies and two little recessed seating areas as well as the main area. We had a separate bedroom that was dark and quiet. The staff were exceptional - from Clara, etc on reception to the housekeeping staff, all were friendly and warm. We would not hesitate to stay here again."

"I really liked the hotel; it’s lovely and everything is very clean. The service at check-in and check-out was excellent—Jesus was very kind and gave us helpful suggestions for various activities. I would stay at this hotel again. Thank you."

"What a find! This was a truly excellent place to stay in Porto. Really well positioned, everything was within walking distance. The room was absolutely gorgeous, and huge. It was well stocked with amenities, including a Nespresso machine. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a small continental offering, with eggs cooked to order, perfect for a trip to Porto, as you definitely don't want to fill up on breakfast! I will be recommending this hotel to anyone travelling to...
