The hotel is very clean and modern inside and has gardens and seating areas outside including a roof terrace.It has a restaurant that is very nice which is ideal because the nearest restaurants are not close to the hotel this resturant is separate from the breakfast room which is much larger. I called, ringed the doorbell and waited for two hours until the mosquitos and the sun were unbearable. We went with my 80 plus y/o parents and my 10 y/o daughter to a hotel and as you can imagine, finding a hotel in Rome in the middle of the summer without reservation is not easy. "We had a great stay at Colazione Al Vaticano. Very close to the train station and the Vatican. Super quiet neighbourhood. The room was very clean, big and comfortable. The only "negative" would be that there isn't staff on site 27/4 since it is a guest house so you just have to make sure you tell them when you are arriving so that Staff are there to check you in and show you to your room. But again, they are very accommodating so this isn't an issue, but more of a FYI. Would definitely...
