"Excellent stay; the room was a decent size and was quite peaceful, despite the fact that it overlooked the square below and that there was live music playing, which we enjoyed listening to in the square but we could hardly hear it from our room. The staff were courteous and respectful, and the hotel was clean and welcoming."

"The house is a very unique house with a deep history set in extensive formal gardens. The staff, particularly in reception and the Restaurant are attentive and very pleasant. The age and design of the house allows functions such as weddings and prom parties to be held without disturbing other guests. It may be a little dog-eared but that seems to add to its charm."

Very clean and comfortable room, but there is no air con available in the rooms which wasn’t ideal during a rather hot weekend. I did appreciate the fan supplied which helped overnight.
