"Lovely hotel in a beautiful village with great staff, the pool and leisure facilities are good also. It definitely needs a public bar that is open - I went to enter the Events bar but door was locked.. "

"Such a lovely cosy cottage, we had a super chilled out break with the dogs .the cottage had everything we needed .was very clean on our arrival. Access to walks ,penrith and carlisle was great .lovely peaceful little village. The village shop is well stocked .and the fox and pheasent is great for food .we had a lovely time .thanks to our hosts "

"Beautiful property in a quiet area, advertised to be Carlisle but was a few miles out, this wasn't too much of an inconvenience. Parking available on the street, internet and phone available. Only improvement I would recommend would be to swap the bed from a double to a king, however this wouldn't stop me from recommending the place."
