"They are lovely friendly people. Breakfast was delicious.... even have a menu where you can choose specific options... all top quality! The large home has a library full of books, puzzles, etc. to entertain. It is decorated with nostalgic furniture, art, and antiques. Plenty of parking. Close to multiple restaurants. I love the cool and shady front porch with rockers and porch swing. It's great for reading! Free drinks and appetizers at 5 pm were a great addition! My only complaint was...

"So charming! Service is lovely, the building is beautiful, and two courses of delicious breakfast out on the porch was a dream. A super quick drive to everything going on downtown, or a longer walk if you don't mind a good stroll. Would repeat this stay!"

"Beautiful 100 year old house. Our suite was roomy & we had everything that we needed, including plush robes. The rate was very reasonable & included an excellent free breakfast every morning plus a glass of wine & a charcuterie plate @ 5PM! The only downside was that the house & grounds could use a little TLC. Regardless, we enjoyed our stay & plan to come back again."

"Loved this place & its quirkiness. You definitely need to notice the fine print which I may not have fully but isn’t a true B&B. However, there are plenty of free breakfast continental items and specialty coffees and teas for your enjoyment. Self service what you want and how ever much you want. Snacks and drinks always available. Saw a staff member 1 time in almost a 2 days; however, the modern & convenient text service works fantastic!! I did have to use & got immediate responses. So you feel...

"Proprietor Jeane was fantastic. She is friendly and provided outstanding service. The inn has a good vibe - relaxed and comfortable like you’re visiting family or friends. It’s a bit noisy due to creaky floors and street noise heard thru the windows but it’s sort of expected for a century old bldg. Breakfast was delicious. "

"Beautiful boarding house on the National Registry. Highly recommend staying here. Delicious breakfast, made to order, daily. Popular restaurant by night. My husband said the trout was the best he has ever had, anywhere. Walk to town or to Tomahawk Lake Town is a popular shopping destination 20 minutes to Biltmore and the Blue Ridge museum and parkway. Also check out the town museum and the huge antique store just off the highway. "

"Our stay was amazing. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. We stayed in the Carolina Cottage which is not in the main house. The bed was very comfortable and it was very quiet for sleeping. The breakfast each day was a 3 course consisting of a blended smoothie to start, followed by a small yogurt parfait or waffle and then the main dish that was a bit more substantial. Cookies and fruit were available all day, as was coffee and tea. Absolutely beautiful view from the porch of the main...

"The Sweet Biscuit Inn lived up to its name! The property was lovely and the room was wonderful. We stayed in # 5. The view of the front lawn and gardens is beautiful and so peaceful. "The house is nice. The location is great. Beds were comfy. Kitchen worked nicely. Only advice is to be very careful out on the deck at night. The 3-4 steps from the upper to lower deck are very hard to see at night and no handrail to assist. Make sure ALL the outside lights are on for the best visibility of the steps. Dark brown steps on dark brown deck in the dark is not a good combination."
