The location was perfect. We could walk everywhere, great shops, food and history right out the door. It is definitely older and a bit outdated, but we found it to be very clean and easy to find.

Very clean and comfy hotel, excellently located near the town center. There was no bad smell and also no strong cleaning chemicals perfume, which I both hate in hotel rooms, so this place is really clean with no need for perfumes to artificially mask stale smells, great. Free parking an additional big plus. Overall, highly recommend.

Clean, comfortable bed, nice linens, convenient to downtown. Within easy walking distance to restaurants, pubs & music venues. Basic breakfast. This old hotel is showing it's age, but the price is reasonable considering it's location.

Obviously an older hotel style but everything was clean and in proper working order. Staff wasn’t always at the desk, but were accommodating when asked for assistance. Average breakfast offering but good.

The staff is super super sweet but the building is very old, the elevator very smelly, the ceilings leaking or broken/cracked, the rooms smelled like a thrift store. The bedding was not the best either. My bed still had stains etc. But the location was definitely perfect if your goal is to remain walking distance of everything downtown Asheville.

Everything was clean, for the price it was very nice. Accessible to Everything downtown. Everyone was very nice. Would absolutely stay again! And only 5 minutes from Starbucks. And 40 minutes from looking glass falls. Absolutely amazing.

Other reviews were accurate! It’s an older property that has not really been updated. That being said, my room was very clean with refrigerator and microwave. The bed was excellent and very comfortable. The location is great and there is free parking. AND it was a good price.
