"Very welcoming staff "

"Lovely hotel, convenient to Piazza di Campo and Siena city center. The front desk staff are amazing, friendly and helpful. Great recommendations for wineries and dinner. Parking was super easy, there is plenty available just next to the hotel, but we were always able to find street parking right in front. The breakfast was abundant with tons of options. The only knocks are the room is very hot, the ac was not cooling at all, beds and pillows are very hard & the bar staff was terrible. The downstairs bar was never open and the 7th floor bar/restaurant staff were terrible. After going to the bar twice and seeing how it was run and how the restaurant was run we chose to never eat there so can’t comment on the food. We bought food and wine and local markets and had dinner on our balcony, which was lovely. We would absolutely stay again, but would choose to have cocktails and dinner elsewhere or bring them back to our room and eat on the balcony. "

"The room was beautiful as was the view of the countryside Breakfast was very delightful and tasty Having a garden was very special Assistance and recommendations from the staff was outstanding The only suggestion is to do a bit of tending to the garden and the places would be spectacular Hope to return again some day"
