This was our favourite hotel in a month-long vacation in Tuscany. The hotel is very attractive, offering a lounge, library, gorgeous terrace and wonderful breakfast. Old hotel, maybe a little too quaint. Bed is hard as a rock and pillow so mushy it’s almost like there is no pillow. Breakfast is pretty good (no hot food). Outside view from garden is great. For the price it gets 4 stars and is clean. Elevator is slow, old and bit quirky. WiFi not the best. Close to everything in old town.

Located at the far end of Siena (15 minutes taxi ride from the train station) on a quiet street with not much pedestrian traffic unlike the rest of the town. It is still close to the main square, cathedral, museums and all other interesting sites. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a view to a beautiful little garden below. The breakfast was OK with cheese, pastries, fruit and good coffee. Our only complaint (hence minus one star on facilities) would be non-existent WiFi in the room, it was extremely slow and was losing connection all the time.
