"Our apartment was very large with a beautiful old private courtyard. It was perfectly quiet and almost 100% dark at night - the best place for sleeping I think I've ever been in. Siena is a great experience, historic attractions, shopping, dining, well preserved medieval town. And it's not as "small" as they say, plenty to do there. The duomo and the dome climb are great.
