The hotel is in a nice location, and the breakfast buffet offers a good variety of choices. We also enjoyed the hotel restaurant, which had good service and several tasty Tuscan dishes for dinner. The main disappointment was the check-in experience. The room initially assigned to us did not match the description in our Expedia booking, and we had to ask repeatedly before being moved to a different room. This made the start of our stay quite unpleasant. Once the room issue was resolved, the rest of the stay was more enjoyable. Overall, the hotel has many good qualities, but the initial room assignment was a significant drawback.

Very nice hotel and beautiful hotel. My only complaint is that the king bed I stayed in was very lumpy - I do mean very.. otherwise great place. Good size gym. Clean. Very friendly service.

As long term visitors to this hotel we were pleased to find that the new owners have done a great job with the renovations. More importantly, many of the familiar staff were still there which was very important to us. Rooms, bar, and dining area looking great. Food was fabulous.Terrace improvements make the best use of space and provides an excellent spot to enjoy the view with a relaxing drink. Highly recommend.

This hotel is stunning, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and its the first hotel I've stayed at where they follow their own rule of not replacing towels if you keep them hung up! My only complaint was that the pool chairs photographed were not set up even though it was a warm May weekend but perhaps these are only set up in the summer.

One of my favorite hotels. The rooms (at least ours) are very small. BUT... they're beautiful as is the entire property. It's a hike to town, so plan on driving or taking a cab. The views are incredible. It's the type of hotel experience you would imagine for your Italian dream vacation. Nitpicks: We booked two days in Siena as a rest in the middle of the rest of our travels. This would have been PERFECT for that, except that they were hosting a large, Indian wedding. (Which was BEAUTIFUL by the way.) But, the DJ played (accompanied by a saxophonist!) until almost midnight and the morning ceremony started pretty early as well. So, it didn't end up being as restful as we'd hoped as this was all happening right outside our window. Also, if the restaurant or bar is closed, there is no where to get a snack or drink. (Not really anywhere to get just a snack anyway.) Wouldn't be such a big deal, except you're not near any convenience stories or anything. A vending machine would be nice!

Belle chambre mais petite alors qu’on est à 30 minutes à pied du centre. Jardin pratique pour le chien, petit déjeuner avec du choix. Je pensai davantage arriver dans un boutique hôtel hors il y a du monde. Travaux autour de la piscine donc bruyant mais surtout les 2 nuits où nous avons dormi un membre du staff utilisait une souffleuse entre minuit et minuit et demi pour nettoyer la retrace ce qui m’a réveillé les 2 nuits
