"Comfortable and clean with great mountain view. Staff is excellent and friendly. Historical is correct as you look around inside. Great patio area. Probably not many places left like this. Located in the country. Wish we could have stayed a few more days."
"Loved staying in one of the historic rooms, which was very quiet. Lots of park and quiet streets behind the property, which was great for dog walking "

10/10 Excellent
"This unit was clean and consistent with the photos in the listing. We stayed there for a bike race at the nearby bike park. The owners had thoughtfully provided a key to access the garage door. The owners have some gear stored in the garage but there was still enough room to store several dirty bikes and do some maintenance in a covered area during passing rain storms which was greatly appreciated. There were several reviews which mentioned a sulfur smell when the hot water was running. There was a faint odor of sulphur when the water was initially turned on but it quickly went away and was a really minor issue. The WiFi worked great. We also appreciated the washer and dryer. We would definitely stay here again. "
"Stunning defines this home and surrounds. The thick timber walls, wood floors and abundant windows with gorgeous views surround you with quiet and beauty. It is history with today’s luxuries and everything we needed from comfy beds to a well-equipped kitchen and the convenience of the washer/dryer and internet. Our host was responsive to our questions and very gracious. We will definitely return! "

"The location and view are fantastic. So were our visitors, Mule Deer and Turkeys. This home is so comfortable that we wished it was for sale! Thanks for letting us stay fthis past week. John & Iris"
"We stayed for about 3 weeks in July - early August. We found the duplex was exactly as described and had a fantastic stay. My overall impression is as follows:Bedrooms - as described. The master is ENORMOUS. We didn't specifically need this, but it was nice. The other bedrooms were also as described. A couple of comments about the bunk bed room and loft.1. The loft is really scary to climb in and out of. It is a nice space once you are up there, but our kids did not sleep there and I don't think most adults would want to either.2. The fan is really close to the top bunk of the bunk bed - you cannot have someone sleeping there and also have the fan on.Kitchen - the kitchen was nice and there was a nice sized pantry. The knives were very good and sharp. The pots and pans were also high quality, but the screws were coming out and need to be retightened. There were plenty of plates and bowls and they were all really nice, however, more cups are needed. There was a can opener, some limited measuring cups and all the standard equipment needed for cooking.Living area and dining room - very nice. Dining table was a large size and of good quality. Couches were comfortable and tv size was rather large.Bathrooms - nice and there were plenty of towels in the hall closet. They had dispensers for shampoo, conditioner and body wash.Trash - this is a weird Angel Fire thing, but there are no trash cans. You have to take your trash in the car to a designated location, which is weird."
