"This is not a standard hotel. It's a set of parked classic trailers (like Airstreams). Instead of a room or a suite you get a trailer - so it's basically a small apartment. Hotel management wants to keep the trailers as close to their original furnishings and mechanical systems as possible, but that's a challenge, so there are some things that don't work perfectly. If you require perfection, this isn't the hotel for you. But, if you enjoy a bit of nostalgia and whimsy and can work with the very...

"Good breakfast"

"Beautiful hotel situated on lovely grounds with trees and paths. King bed was comfortable with nice linens. Balcony was pleasant. Room was heavy on animal skins and hallways are lined with antlers, so if you're not into that, beware. Large bathtub looks great (and it was), but a bit treacherous to step out of. We enjoyed drinks and appetizers in the bar, which is very nice. Friendly, helpful staff. Can't speak to the spa amenities, but they look inviting."

"Good location."

"We had a wonderful room, fabulous breakfast and a very comfortable stay"

"My husband and I spent two nights during the off season (late September) and everything was perfect. Most of the amenities in the ski village itself were already closed, but the resort was quiet, the hot tub was open, the restaurant served us daily, and the setting (nestled in the crest of the mountains) was amazing. Highly recommend for travelers looking for a great stay in a beautiful location. We Loved it."

"Peggy the inn keeper was very personable and helpful, spending time with us to explain the history of the property and engaging us in conversations that made our stay extra special. The awesome Pueblo building was well-maintained while retaining its old charm; plus, the inn was a walking distance from the old town and easy drive to many sights of interest, It was a perfect base from which to enjoy the historic and cultural town of Taos."

"Love this place. Delicious freshly made breakfast, including their homemade granola, and friendly welcoming folks. Taos was especially beautiful, despite a bit of rain, in mid/late October. Loved having the gas fire kiva. My husband found the low, small sink tough to navigate in our room, but this was a minor inconvenience and we will be sure to get a different room next time as we plan on coming back. Charming accommodations, quiet and beautiful. Highly recommend."
