Convenient location in downtown Taos. Close to shops and restaurants. Room was clean and pleasant. Plenty of parking right outside the room.

Overall, I liked the stay. My only complaint is that they only gave shampoo and conditioner for one day and that doesn’t work with two women for two days. Same with washcloths.

We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back. They have great amenities like a big TV and wireless phone charger, the whole property was very clean, the coffee shop on site is lovely, and (just as other reviews stated) the staff was extremely friendly. This place did not disappoint and it’s pet friendly, which is a huge plus for my crew.

I did not get the newly renovated room as advertised, additionally the room smelt of cigarettes when it was supposed to be non-smoking. I reserved a double queen bedroom and was given a single king bed. The bathroom was dirty. I was very disappointed and ended up staying at another location.

Ever since we walked in to the room, we could hear a pretty loud pounding noise on the pipes coming from inside the wall. It’s pretty much nonstop and goes all the way throughout the night.

Dirty walkways, no elevator, mold in bathroom and shower, vent in bathroom was caked with dust,hot water in shower only scalding hot or cold no in between, old soft mattress, tiny pillows, limited plugs to charge items, burnt out light bulb with very limited lighting, black out curtains did a terrible job and light came in all night, sink faucet sprayed water every time it was turned on, no network connection on the internet tv, styrofoam cups blowing around numerous places in the lot,

The Taos Valley Lodge offered excellent accommodations close to the downtown plaza. The room was super clean, the coffee shop was welcoming and we enjoyed our time in Taos.
