"Beautiful hotel situated on lovely grounds with trees and paths. King bed was comfortable with nice linens. Balcony was pleasant. Room was heavy on animal skins and hallways are lined with antlers, so if you're not into that, beware. Large bathtub looks great (and it was), but a bit treacherous to step out of. We enjoyed drinks and appetizers in the bar, which is very nice. Friendly, helpful staff. Can't speak to the spa amenities, but they look inviting."

"We had a wonderful room, fabulous breakfast and a very comfortable stay"

"What a great place to stay! The room was clean and quiet, Bed and pillows were comfortable. The best of all was the fantastic breakfast! There were tamales, eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, fruit and so much more. The breakfast area was staffed by several helpful and welcoming staff members. Lobby staff were also friendly and helpful. I would gladly stay here again if I am in the area. You should, too."

"Place needs better maintenance, showing its age. Update the rooms, space is not functional, furniture is dated, shades need to be darkening type. Grounds design is in coherent. Bar and dining had limited hours. It felt like a townhouse development"

"Solo traveled and so glad I chose this location. So much history and so conveniently located! I walked everywhere from here. And Live music every evening in the lobby. Room was cozy!"

"extremely memorable stay. loved everything except the food wasn't awesome in my opinion."
