"The room was great! And the staff was so friendly. Ebony was at the desk when I checked in and she was so sweet! Only downside is that there was no breakfast, but there are plenty of coffeeshops within easy walking distance!"

"Our stay at The Marshall House was perfect, even though it is definitely a haunted hotel! Our first night, we arrived at 1:00 in the morning due to airline delays. At 2:00 we had 3 knocks on our door. No one was there. For the entirety of our stay we experienced the 3 knocks each night/morning. Also, my husband set his cell phone on the nightstand, we went to sleep and the next morning he reached for it to find it had been moved to a different table in our room. Neither of us had been out of bed! That aside, the room was wonderful and the entire place had the historic charm we wanted. The breakfast was delicious and the evening wine and cheese bar was one of our favorite things! All the staff were wonderful, friendly and very helpful with anything we needed. When we go back to Savannah this will be the place we stay every time!"

"Bathroom needs updates and to be cleaned better. Floor is slippery so be careful. Lots of noise if from the River side, and seems to have thins walls. Other than that, beautiful hotel. "

"Here’s a clean, polished review you can post: We were driving down to Florida but realized we would arrive way too early since our Airbnb check in wasn’t until 3 PM the next day. Instead of driving through the night and getting there at 3 or 5 in the morning with nowhere to go, we decided to stop and make our first overnight stop in Savannah. We are so glad we did. Savannah is a beautiful city and the area around the hotel was great. The hotel itself was also beautiful and very well maintained. Everyone we encountered was kind, welcoming, and polite which made the stay even better. The room was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable, which we definitely appreciated after a long drive. One thing we really liked was the parking. Having covered parking made us feel a lot more secure leaving our car there overnight. Overall it was a great stay and we would absolutely stay here again if we’re in the Savannah area. Highly recommend."

"Fire alarm went off late at night causing hotel to evacuate. I understand that safety is the number one concern, however not a single employee extended an apology for the inconvenience. Being that i was in the shower I had to scramble to put something on and go stand in the cold while being wet. "

"The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and pillows were good. If you’re a light sleeper, highly ask for a room that’s not got a window facing the main street. Try to get one towards the back of the property by the parking lot. There’s a lot of traffic on that street."
