We stayed here for 1 night, pre cruise out of Southampton. It was only a 30 minute taxi ride to port. Romsey is a small (1,000 people) town, the prettiest little English town you'll ever see. I wish we could have stayed longer. Not touristy and easy to navigate. One of those "out of the way" " off the beaten path" places I love to find. We are from Canada and I found this place on Expedia. You will not be disappointed. It's fabulous. "

"A lovely friendly traditional hotel. A lovely historic coaching inn on what was once the highway through Amesbury. A short drive to Stonehenge and walks close by along the very beautiful River Avon. The room was spacious and the shower good. Very quiet. Good value. "
