"Customer service from Hotel staff, including the staff at Maryjane’s restaurant was exceptional. Taylor Celeste checked us in & was a gem. My wife suffers from debilitating neuropathy from chemotherapy, our room wasn’t quite ready, she led us to a little and very comfortable lounge, made sure that my wife was comfortable and gave us each a complimentary adult beverage. She was incredibly friendly and kind. That small gesture was the start of a great stay. Our room wasn’t awesone, clean, great features, comfortable. Outstanding breakfast at Maryjane’s where pricing was very fair. The negative, parking is a challenge. We chose valet. $70 per day. Annoyingly, the valet staff decided it was necessary to radically adjust my steering wheel and seat. I am not small, I stand over 6 feet tall. The guy that brought me my car was about 5’8; ny set was set for somebody who was probably 6’4 minimum. Why was it necessary to adjust the seat to either park or drop off my car. Incredibly annoying and unnecessary. However, i look forward to staying at the Hard Rock SD in the future."

"We chose to come back and stay here for an our last 5 days in San Diego because of the location and the people who worked there. The location is so walkable to the bay, downtown, little Italy is literally at your doorstep but the people who worked here became family to us they were all so beautiful behind the bar and at reception. The area is clean and quiet. We had a king bed that was very comfortable. Large bathroom and balcony with a view of the bay. Our only real feedback would be it would be great to have a set of plates, cups and cutlery in the room and to have the room serviced regularly during our stay but we loved our stay and were very grateful for the people we met ❤️"

"The property overall seemed average but the cleanliness of the actual room was above average. I like the laminate floors better than carpet. Only thing was the windows did not insulate from noise so other guests woke us up being by the elevator, and early Trash trucks on a Sunday did not let us sleep in. Only other thing was we didn't have enough towels for guests ad the phone did not work to call the lobby desk to ask for more."
