They all spoke English which was greatly appreciated. The restaurant is wonderful, we had their breakfast buffet each morning and the food and service were great. Lots of options. 5 minute walk to train station and 20 minute walk to oldtown where lots of bars and restaurants and action. Walk from train station a bit dirty and several homeless people but Hotel great!"

"This was our third time at this Hotel and again we were not disappointed. The location of the Hotel is perfect for getting around Munich. There is so much to see and do locally and you can travel quite easily to other cities. On this occasion, we travelled to Berchtesgaden and the Eagles Nest with Get Your Guide. This was a trip not to be missed. The best part of our stay in Munich is the Hotel. The Staff are professional and extremely helpful. The breakfasts are amazing and the Staff are very attentive nothing is too much of a bother for them. We have stayed in the same room, although on different floors, on each of our visits. The Housekeepers do a wonderful job. On this occasion we got to know Karlo Zupanic from the Concierge team, who provided us with expert knowledge on where to visit and every day made sure to ask if we needed any assistance, which we did. Also at Reception we would like to mention Francesca and Pia who were both so helpful in arranging our trip to Nuremberg. We also would like to mention Omabi who is always there to welcome you when coming and going from the Hotel. We hope to visit again in the very near future."

"Loved this quaint hotel and location! Our first time to Germany and loved location of this property - in a safe and quiet neighborhood, but close to great restaurants and the train station (Lehel Cafe for morning coffee was our favorite!!). Easy walk to English Garden and Marienplatz. Staff was great! Only things you may want to know prior to booking: not all rooms have A/C (if any)...ours did not and while it was tolerable with windows open and provided fans, the high was only around 80 with cool nights...not sure it would be tolerable in summer! Second, you must be able to go up/down about 20 stairs minimum...even to get to the "elevator", which is tiny and in between floors...you actually have to climb about 30 stairs to get to "first floor", which is above reception. Again, no issue for us, but could be for others with strollers or mobility issues. We did not eat the breakfast, as it was not included and we are not morning eaters. "
