"Overall I would stay again. The property is up a short dirt road and was a bit hard to find but inside was wonderful. They couldn’t figure out the WiFi password but at least the tv was already connected. "
"The accommodation was nice and clean. We were able to check in a bit early which was nice. The AC unit in the bedroom is a bit loud and ticks when it kicks on, but it was nice and cool in the hot weather. Ample supplies in the kitchen for coffee, and bathroom toiletries for the night. Overall a great experience."
"Everything was so great and the place was comfortable. The people running it were very communicative and provided everything we needed for our stay. Will definitely be back!"
"This container home was absolutely amazing. There is nice spacing from the other homes. The bed is comfortable and the shower has great pressure. 10 out of 10. We are looking forward to staying again !"

Alpine is a great small town. They have the basic amenities you'd need while on your hiking trip. There is even a trail in town. Locals were friendly. I would definitely visit again

A quaint, historical desert town that likes one-way streets. Several quaint shops and eating options. A beautiful college campus especially when lit up at night.

Enjoyed the museum at the University and even though it is a long drive to Big Bend National Park, it was a good place to base out of since there was not any place closer available on a short notice.

Well-established, isolated town with many new businesses getting started. Fun to check out local small businesses.

"We booked a room at the Maverick Inn, sister property to the Holland Hotel. Checking in at the Holland, they upgraded us to the rooftop suite at the Holland for no upcharge because the A/C at the Maverick Inn room was broken. We will definitely stay with them again! "
