"What a cool spot, lots of things to do around the property or just relax by the pool and sauna. This would be a fun spot for couples, great vibe and easy to be romantic, assuming you like to be spoiled and outdoors at the same time."

"The apartment is very clean and comfortable. The balcony overlooking the back gardens is a big plus. Margaret is very accessible and helpful. Her garden shop is a lovely place to browse. This is our third stay and we will most likely return if visiting in the area."

"The hotel is situated close to many fast food restaurants, making it easy to grab a meal, the breakfast had a variety of food and coffee and tea available in the lobby at all times. Trying to have coffee at 6AM in the lobby, the coffee that was available was stale from the previous night the staff did promise to have a free brewing but it was ready close to 7AM the time when breakfast is made available. My suggestion is that a fresh coffee brewed should be made available at by 6AM."

The room we stayed in was beautiful, the cleanest I think I’ve ever stayed in and it was fully stocked with soaps, coffee & even makeup wipes for my wife. Rose accommodated dietary restrictions for our breakfast no problem. The perfect place to stay for couples visiting Port Hope and looking for something a bit more special than a hotel. Summertime would be even better. "

"If you need a cute little place to stay while you are working nearby, driving on through on an adventure or a quiet get away from the city this is it. Walkable to the cute town of Campbellford, a 3km walk to the cool suspension bridge and while on route you can stop at the giant toonie. I use it for work fairly often and it's clean, quiet and peaceful."

"I had a couple of concerns but chose not to bring them to your attention. Firstly, I paid about $40 more a night than the Comfort Inn because of your pool but it was so cold, I couldn't enjoy it. Secondly, the bed closest to the window in room 101 needs to have the mattress replaced, it slopes into the middle so badly, I had a tough time sleeping. Housekeeping did a great job each day refreshing the room, we had a great breakfast in the restaurant and the gentleman at check in was friendly and...

"Location was perfect! Rooms are outdated (mostly the carpet) but clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable. Water pressure was excellent! Breakfast was good and being attached to the Kelsey’s restaurant was also very convenient. Staff was friendly! "

"We had a wonderful stay, very clean property, friendly staff. I love that our room was clean everyday. I enjoy the pool, sauna and hot tub some of the reasons I chose to stay here. The waterfront view was very pleasant even though it was still cold and raining while we were there. All and all a great time."

"This has got to be the worst Hampton Inn we've stayed at. The whole place needs a deep clean. Carpets are very stained. The shower stall is pretty gross. Mattress is very soft. Breakfast is meh. Also right next to a construction site. Very close to a giant grocery store though. Would not recommend."
