"Taka San was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The room was super traditional and very spacious and there was a lot of space in the house for group dining a nice garage space to hang out as well. The guesthouse is in a very beautiful and scenic area. I would highly recommend Taka San and his guesthouse to anybody looking to visit the area."

"Staff don’t speak English bathroom only on the first floor we were staying at the 4th and no dinner and no breakfast available. Good for a step only one night before Kyoto. "

"Fantastic stay in this onsen style ryokan. Had a wonderful private onsen in our room, overlooking the river and the lake beyond. Can’t ask for a more perfect experience. Waking up early to soak in our private room onsen before dressing and heading down for the Japanese style breakfast included."

"My one night here became 3 nights. Judo is the most amazing person in Nagahama. He is very helpful and accommodating even though he was busy helping out with the festival. The property is well maintained, quaint and the area is very quiet at night. That’s when it turns magical. I highly recommend this guesthouse."

"Booked this as an anniversary present and it was a great place to stay. The venue is beautiful with different areas to eat dinner and a buffet for breakfast. Different Onsen's to use if you don't have one in your room. We had 1 in our room which was big enough to fit 2 people and had a view and slightly open so you got a wonderful breeze.
