"The staff were amazing and extremely helpful. Provided what we needed at request. We wish was that in them knowing we had a vehicle, that they were able to direct us to a nearby parking lot with affordable pricing. The signs are confusing at times. We ended up paying ¥3400 the first night for overnight parking and ¥6100 the second night in the nearby lots. Other than that, the room was clean except a little black mold near the AC unit. Deep. cleaning could be better. Happy with our 2 night stay...

"We had an amazing stay at Byakudan. All the staff are friendly and helpful, food delicious, shuttle convenient, and the private onsen is DIVINE! It’s so relaxing with serene forest in front of you. It will definitely be our go to place whenever we go back to Hakone in the future. "

Lots of attractive, unique shops, restaurants, cafes nearby. Beach is short walk, and many historical places to visit. "

"Not sure why info says it sleep 7 but hotel only allows 4 (only 4 single beds, no sofa bed). Confusing which room you get but we booked for 12 family and stayed at room B, D, E. Room D is spacious, room B, I like the set up and spacious enough, Room E had no space at all specially if you have luggages. Overall, we liked our stay. Reviews stated it was unmanned hotel but there is security code to get in lobby and to get in our room. There’s a Family Mart right below us which is very convenient....
