"Nice clean hotel"

"Due to a problem with another Inn, we found this place for the night as we were driving. It was a great surprise and so glad we found it! Besides the look of a castle on the outside it continued to look like one on the inside. Everywhere you looked there was something awesome to see and our room was great too. The staff was very friendly and I would definitely recommend this place!"

"We had an amazing stay at Bluebird Lake Placid! Most amazing was the location: we had an easy walk to water skiing on Lake Placid, restaurants and shops in town, and swimming on Mirror Lake. The room was clean, comfortable, and adorable too. The AC worked great. Bathroom was great. Our view was of the side parking lot, but that is okay; we were only there to sleep and shower. Areas for improvement: 1. The beds were too soft and sagged in the middle; my back does better with a firm mattress. Mattresses may need to be changed out more often. 2. Having some sources of protein at breakfast would be great. For example, boiled eggs are easy to have on hand. Having some items made with whole grains (instead of all the white and overly sweetened items) would also be appreciated. 3. Having a few more hooks to hang wet clothes and towels would be great. Overall, a great stay! "
