"Views with a Cabin" - in the Historic Town of Grand Lake

"The cabin was cute and had a charming Swedish feel to it, which is what drew me in. I was disappointed that the actual experience didn't live up to the listing.The listing is titled “Views with a Cabin,” and the photos give a much better impression of the view than reality. The neighboring houses are very close. Most of the photos are taken from one angle, so I was surprised that many of the views from the cabin are obstructed.The bed was extremely firm and uncomfortable, and I had a terrible night's sleep both nights. There is already a review mentioning the uncomfortable bed, and I should have paid more attention to that. There is no air conditioning and no fan was provided. With only one window that opened, it was difficult to cool the bedroom.The location information is misleading. The listing says Adams Falls Trail is a two-minute walk away. But you probably want to go to Adams Fall and that trailhead, and Google Maps shows that as a 56-minute walk.Overall, the cabin itself is charming, but I think the listing oversells the views and location. Unfortunately, the property fell short of what I expected from the listing."

"Such a wonderful home. The view is spectacular. We loved sitting around the fire pit and on the deck. The kitchen is extremely well stocked! It has ALL the basics and more. Everything was clean. Good communication from host. We also liked the additional family room in the basement. We will definitely be back."

"Location of home was excellent. Close to Rocky Mountain National Park west entrance and all of Grand Lake. House was clean and as described. Hot tub was clean. Kitchen was well stocked and very nice."

"Excellent host and property! Amazing views (just as described/shown in pictures) and incredibly well stocked! The home had everything we needed for a special weekend with close friends ❤️we loved relaxing in the hot tub in the morning and at night under the stars surrounded by the mountains. The lake was full and majestic. Clean, comfortable beds and bathrooms etc. Enjoyed movies and drinking coffee on the patio/deck with the hummingbirds buzzing in and out. Walking distance to the mountain market right down the hill and into town with short drive to RMNP. Detailed instructions were provided for local wildlife and recommendations for loads of things to do nearby. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property filled with positive vibes Joe. We made memories to last a lifetime! Fyi for others-due to the location (which is outstanding) there are number of stairs up to the house and main floor. No issues as we were well aware but just heads up for anyone with mobility concerns."

"My 2 daughters and I visited Grand Lake this past week. The VRBO was perfect for our needs - 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. We enjoyed our stay very much. Location was so convenient. The house had everything we needed. It was so comfortable. We appreciated having Dish TV. The deck was perfect for our view of the partial eclipse on Thursday night. We will definitely keep it in mind for our visit next year to Grand Lake."
