The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Host was helpful, and courteous. Full English breakfast was delicious.

Great hotel

We loved this hotel! It was way more than we expected. The food was excellent & menu choices were great. The pub area was lively & fun. The owners & staff went above & beyond to accommodate our every need. The breakfast was outstanding & they have the best coffee. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The town is very well located & a short driving distance to many attractions in the area.

This was our first time staying at a hotel that wasn't staffed. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The accommodations were very modern. Plenty of hot water. Easy access to both train and bus stations. Walking distance to a variety of restaurants and grocery stores. Quiet. We didn't hear street noise. Stairs are steep, as others have noted. The hospitality was wonderful! Comfy bed and great food.

Loved this hotel located in a beautiful area of Wales! Staff were attentive and food was absolutely great!! Accommodations were what one would expect from an older hotel… what I mean is “mind your head!!”

Nice cozy room

The staff was friendly. Hotel was very clean. Room was very clean and well maintained. Good meals. Free parking. FYI --There was no refrigerator nor iron in the room.

Nice room, although the electrical outlets were inconveniently placed. Good restaurant for dinner and breakfast, and very close to the Welsh National Roman Legion Museum.

Only there overnight but everything was excellent.

Room was large and beds and pillows very comfortable. We had a nice meal for dinner. Breakfast was included and I had the best scrambled eggs ever. Portions are large and were offered fresh fruit and cereal as well. It was a little cool but in nice weather they have nice outdoor dining and drink area. Very happy with our stay. Friendly staff.
