"Great location, walking distance to Ngnongotaha shops and the lake, 12 mins drive from Rotorua central - pet and family friendly, well appointed - all new, functional kitchen implements for example, which is just fantastic. Arriving and knowing the pans will work and not smoke out the house was wonderful. Fully fenced back garden if you bring a dog. So immaculately clean that I tried to put the lettuce through the fridge shelf into the vege bin! Warm, dry and really friendly host with super fast communication.Perfect set up for our family of four for a short stay.Only note - lock box hard to see in the dark on arrival, so bring a torch on your phone or whatever if you arrive late :)We were only there for the marathon this time, but will likely stay again for longer and enjoy the local attractions."

"Staff was super lovely and accommodating. Animals were so friendly. Only thing to keep in mind is laundry hours if you arrive late or leave early. Definitely come back here."

"Room was clean but a little dated. Bathroom sink was very small. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Had lots of information about local attractions and activities. Had functional guest laundry which I used. Stayed an extra night due to weather events. Kitchen was very functional."

"We ubered from the airport which was an easy process. We had to take two cars for the four of us with our luggage. The drivers are friends. We arranged for them to take us back to the airport ahead of time. So helpful. We love the lockbox system. It makes entry so convenient.We were mesmerized by the beautiful lake view, all times of the day. The unit had all we needed and the neighborhood was very beautiful and quiet. My only suggestion is to put usable seating on the balcony. Just four individual chairs would allow people to sit out and enjoy the sunrise and sunset. The existing table and benches are not very functional. Our only regret is not staying longer. "

"The cottage was lovely! The location was great for our needs and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, with close access to the lake and a great view of the stars at night. The hosts were very communicative and accommodating and came out to greet us in person even though we arrived late at night. They also gave us some fresh eggs and jam and honey! We would definitely stay here again."

"Lovely venue, with a great lake view. House was clean, and check in was easy. Comfortable beds and bedding. A wonderful overnight stay for our group of 10.Minor complaint about some of the cleaning up items available (there were no dishwasher tablets available, so had to pop to the shop in the morning of check out to get some) Also there was no cork screw bottle opener so I couldn't open a bottle of wine :-(Otherwise it was a great experience"
