"We booked a three-night stay but checked out after just one night. We knew we wouldn’t receive a refund, but my wife and I simply couldn’t stay any longer. The welcome felt rushed, and when I asked if I could briefly look in the restaurant before deciding whether to dine there, I was refused. The room was the biggest disappointment. "Stunning location, grounds and restaurant but the staff truly make this place amazing.."

"We have never visited The Lakes and wanted an overnight stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Would highly recommend staying here. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The food for the evening meal in the restaurant was lovely followed by breakfast the next day, with plenty of options. Also helped with have parking facilities on site and free for visitors to the hotel. Was not disappointed with our stay, and would definitely visit again in the future"

"I cannot fault this property. The staff are friendly and helpful, the room was clean and fresh to a great standard of decoration (much like the rest of the hotel) and the breakfasts were delicious. We will definitely return when we stay in the Lakes next time."

"Jonathan was very welcoming. The lounge was a nice place to hang out with friends. Our bed was comfortable and the coffee service in the room went above the ordinary. Breakfast was delicious - make sure to order the prunes they’re amazing!"
