"Even though we where supposed to be a VIP customer, we received a room with a small window facing a construction a few feet away. After I asked for another room they put me on a "waiting list" shortly after I got a call that they might have a front room but there would be an additional charge of 90Euro a day. After I talked to a manager, they reduced the surcharge to 50Euro a day. We took the room which was very nice and had a great view."

"Good hotel. Location is good if you prefer a quieter part of town. Unfortunately there is a building site next to the hotel. Big seller for the hotel is the pool on the rooftop. Downside - drinks at the hotel seem to be overpriced and service in the bar at the ground floor is slow. Also the aircon in the room doesn't work. "

"This unusual in the middle of Porto. So convenient to walk around either to river or to other areas. We loved the staff, they were so friendly. Always provided suggestions. Immaculate clean and plenty of space in room. The dinner at the restaurant was also delicious The hotel is a must stay!! "

"This hotel is top notch. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Porto. There may be a little initial confusion as to how to get to the hotel. Taxi may drop you pretty far away if not properly instructed. Best way I found, was being dropped off and picked up at Igreja de Sao Pedro de Miragaiar, and walking from there(only about 200ft/60 meters or so). From the food, drinks, accommodations, and service, the stay was amazing. Be sure to check out the rooftop. Will be back."

"This is a beautiful hotel and our suite was well appointed and had one of the best showers I have ever found in a hotel. Turn down service and cleanliness was fabulous. We had trouble keeping the room cool enough, the controls were confusing and would revert back to a default in the middle of the night. Staff was attentive and helpful but ultimately was unable to secure us dinner reservations other than in their own hotel and did not seem to have many restaurants that they worked with....

"Very nice hotel for a reasonable price. The service was superb. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was gorgeous. I wish we had a chair though in the room but it’s okay. Breakfast was really good. The area if pretty central in Lisbon. Everything was a 10-20 min walk. "

"We loved this hotel! The location is very convenient and within walking distance to many points of interest, shopping, eateries, etc. The bed was comfy and shower great. Each floor has its own scent and theme which were a nice touch. We stayed on the pepper floor. As Americans, we also appreciated the concierge walking us to our room to show us how to use their air conditioning system to make sure we were completely comfortable. "

"What a great location! It's mid-way on the semi-pedestrian Rua das Flores. There's a constant parade in front of the hotel. Restaurants, shopping, buskers in abundance a few feet away. [We ate breakfast nearby instead of in the hotel.] We had dumped our car at the airport. We took an Uber to the hotel, but taking a taxi is better. Cabs have access to Rua das Flores whereas our Uber had to leave us off on a side street instead. If you have much luggage, a taxi is better. Staff was absurdly...

"We stayed for a week in a queen suite at the One Shot Palacio on Rua Ceidofeita. The room was quiet, clean, and spacious, felt luxurious, had great storage, and boasted a comfortable mattress (unusual in any hotel!). We opted for a large terrace, too, though one improvement would be an umbrella or sunshade of some type. Front desk and hotel staff were terrific overall. We also paid for breakfast each morning as part of our Expedia package. Overall, it was fine, though the offerings are not that...
