"Yes, these rooms are above a pub but you can’t hear any noise. The appointments were like that of a luxury hotel. The staff worked behind the bar at the pub for the most part and they were extremely responsive to any request. Not sure many tourists find their way to this particular town, but if you’re anywhere near Scarborough, this is the place to stay."

"Great stay, clean room with all the facilities you need. Friendly staff and great breakfast. On street parking right outside the hotel (£5 for a 2 night stay) Would happily stay there again."

"Apartment very nice. Cleanliness could be better lots if dust, toilet brush extremely dirty, actually gross. Shower screen leaking water on to floor. Communal area tired and needs a revamp and cleaned."

"Great location and great house. Communication could be better."

It has all amenties, coffee, milk, plenty of pots, pans and utensils. We used the oven and hob with no problems. Theres also washing up liquid and so on so no need to take your own. The bedrooms are light and airy and tge bathroom clean with the essentials. The cottage manual and the tablet are thoughtful...

"Convenient location close to the centre of Whitby. Friendly and helpful hosts. Clean and well appointed rooms. Excellent breakfast."

"This is a great place to stay, this was our second visit, I think it's location is great, 5 mins to the town centre. Does have a bit of a hill to climb back up to the house, which could be a negative for some. The property is modern and clean, will definitely stay again "

There was a list in the cupboard of all items which should be present. 4..there was water all over the kitchen top & we...
