"Great hotel in the heart of Ikebukuro. It’s more quiet and loosely packed compared to Shibuya or Shinjuku if you’re into that. Stations for JR lines and other local trains are dotted all around the property. Service and staff are really helpful despite language barriers, although language barriers should be thin these days due to modern technology. If you manage to get a room up high you’ll have a nice view of the city. "

My room had not been renovated but I’m sure it is on the list to be done soon so the decor was a bit dated. But it was clean and comfortable. "The location was superb! 5mins walking distance to the main shinjuku train station that has train to everyone in Tokyo. Definitely recommend for any one travelling around Tokyo. "Staff was very professional and went above and beyond to help us heavily traveled and sleep deprived at check-in. The room is a standard Japanese size, but with a true queen bed. The large windows provided in our train view room had the sites promised, wish we could have stayed longer. Never heard any noise from any other guests as well, excellent stay and cannot be closer to the station."
