"Stayed here for one night on my way down from Edinburgh to London. The hotel is pet friendly. There is £15 charge, not sure if it’s per night or once time charge. The view from the bar is nice.
HOWEVER, the lower level rooms (twin rooms) smells terrible. It smells damp. I had to ask to be moved to another room. Even the “upgrade” standard double room smelled damp. I left the windows open and sat outside for a bit then it was better. On google it says it’s a 4star hotel, I don’t think so.

"All the staff super friendly and the room was very big and clean. The mattress wasn’t great though and the noise travelled through the rooms- people above were quite noisy. Breakfast had good options but the scrambled egg on toast wasn’t great- should’ve done the full English! Would stay again but the bed could be comfier and hopefully not as noisy people above next time."
