"I celebrated my 50th Birthday on the 12th and spent a week at the SHotel Montego Bay. This was indeed the best vacation ever! The staff at this boutique hotel were excellent and pleasant. Nothing in life is perfect so I will list some things below, but these things did not impact my overall rating. King Suite Ocean View room - was beautiful. The beds were too hard for my taste but I eventually adjusted. The room was very clean and kept clean daily by housekeeping. This is a smaller resort so it is easy to hear the traffic on the hip strip. The nighly entertainment was right outside our balcony which overlooked the pool and the ocean. We could enjoy right from our room. The food was satisfying. The escovitch snapper at the pool grill was the bomb!!! So fresh and delicious! I had one too many. The Roots Rock restaurant was fantastic. Oxtails did not disappoint nor did the service! The only restaurant available to book on my actual birthday was the seafood one on the main level next to the lobby. That was the only one I didn't care for. We got the shrimp and pasta and it was a super small portion so much so that we left and went to the buffet afterwards to round out the meal. The live music however was fantastic. A gentleman played piano and sang. He was awesome! Could have listened to him all night. Wished he was part of the live nightly entertainment by the pool. The Jam Rock restaurant was pretty good as well. We had the filet which was prepared well"

"Clean and friendly staff. Activities were awesome. Shows are very good. Pools are very good. Kids enjoyed the ocean water slides food and entertainment. Highly recommend. "

"May 10, 2025 we stayed at the Riu Reggae property very clean. They’re always washing the floors and cleaning around amazing. The eating area was also very clean. The people were very nice friendly. The pool and ocean are very close in proximity. Their towel system isn’t the greatest You only get one towel they’re always running out, The pool and ocean very warm like 96 degrees I’m definitely going back. But bringing a beach towel of my own lol "
