"The room was roomy and clean. The only thing not good was you had to step into the bath to use the shower and there was no handle bar on the wall to hold on to. The staff was helpful in looking after our cases when we arrived before we could go into the room."

"Stayed here for 1 night to be close to Winters Barn for a family wedding. Place was easy to find, clean and comfortable. Shower hot and large rainforest style head which i loved. Staff friendly and accommodating, i needed an extension lead to dry my hair as no plugs near the mirror and the team were accommodating. Breakfast was nice too. Would stay again. Its also a short drive to main Canterbury city center. "

"Hi we stayed at Guesthouse 42 for one night as we were in Margate for a concert in Dreamland. This Guesthouse is in a brilliant location for everything in Margate. The rooftop bar gives an impressive view of the beach and harbor. The rooms are very well presented with a fridge, hair dryers, clothes steamer, tea and coffee machines, safe etc. Complimentary toiletries smell great. "The woman I spoke to was kind enough to let me check in several hours early, and I was upgraded to an absolutely GORGEOUS room and full bathroom including large bath and separate bidet. The location was fantastic; close to the middle of town and the local beach, quick walk (though very steep) to the castle, in between walks to the white cliffs in either direction.
