"Location is lovely quiet and picturesque. We were at a wedding close by so only needed the hotel to sleep at, the hotel is a bit in need of a re-furb but very nice staff and the room was fresh and comfortable. The room was clean, bedding and bed were comfortable we did not eat as arrived at 3 dropped bags and headed to wedding.left at 8 in morning Would stay again as we both said apart from corridors and general impression it was a nice nights sleep Plenty parking and nice area for a morning...

"A lovely central spot in the heart of Richmond. Staff were excellent and the breakfast is exceptional with local produce used. Would highly recommend"

"I didn't realise this was on a holiday park so maybe my bad there. I was picturing country pub. Lots of noise outside. Then an alarm went off at 3am for ages. The restaurant food wasn't great for the money... But great breakfast and lovely pool."

Bar staff and restaurant staff were inconsistent, didn't listen, were abrupt and stopped talking to us to chat to other people that had entered the pub. "Amazing location for travelling around the dales. Easy to find also. Free breakfast served each morning is ideal and the host is great. Lovely place and would stay again! Very friendly and they had no problem hosting kids either considering it seems like it’s mostly adults who stay. We also booked very short notice and they were happy to accommodate for us and went above and beyond sorting a room out. Great communication from the host as well. Very happy with our stay. Richmond is just down...

"This countryside property just outside Thirsk is easy to find and offers a wonderful, peaceful retreat. The room was spotlessly clean, featuring a great shower, huge plush towels, bathrobes, and slippers. Having access to a pool and hot tub was a fantastic bonus. The owner, Sue, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and home-cooked, full english breakfast as well as lighter options like smoked salmon and scrambled eggs alongside fresh fruit, yoghurt, and cereals. Highly...
