"Staff were helpful, pleasant and friendly. Clean room and good breakfast."

"My shower leaked so bathroom floor was wet all the time. There was mould in the shower .no Fridge. There was litter left in one corner of the room . Breakfast was pretty underwhelming but well staffed and managed. The bed was awful , lumpy and uncomfortable. Ill not be staying here again . It was cheap and I know why. "A lovely hotel with lovely staff they couldn't be more helpful. Food was top notch and drinks not too expensive."

"Stayed at Brockencote in early September 2026. It was a very enjoyable visit. "I love old fashioned, traditional pubs & inns, and this was perfect. Wooden beams, creaky floors, etc. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The meals were of high quality & decently priced, too, the breakfast exceptional! Plenty of parking available. I will definitely visit there again."

"It was fine, nice surroundings and quiet"

"The lights in the bathroom were beautiful"

"Lovely lodges, well maintained and nice hot tub Only disadvantage is not being able to keep the car at the lodge as my friend has poor mobility. We had been promised the lodge closest to the restaurant building, but we weren't put in there unfortunately"
