"1 bed appt, perfect for my needs. Only quibble was sofa. Nice balcony over looking courtyard. Spa facility (pool, jacuzzi, steam room etc) was great, very clean and well run. Its a shame the restaurant wasn't running but as I had an appt with a kitchen it wasn't really a problem. Small shop on site open for 2 hrs each evening, and a temporary bar above the spa. Its a bit in the sticks but only 20 mins drive from Bideford. All the staff were friendly and helpful."
"This is a great place to stay, look for deals, prices vary depending on weather you want to have Bar food or go full fine dining, Bar option is a good way to start. Self guided option is much more cost effective than a tour guide.

"Really lovely stay and a great surprise. The room was much bigger than we expected and we were really pleased to find that the kids effectively had their own little room within our room, with really good-sized bunk beds. It made such a difference travelling as a family and everyone had plenty of space.
The staff were absolutely outstanding, genuinely friendly, welcoming and helpful, and really added to our stay.

Accommodation faces a large car park, which we were aware of when booking, however this does mean there is a lot of noise from cars and people late at night and very early in the morning. Ear plugs were supplied on arrival.

"Great vies but OVERPRICED for what you get. No sea view, no aircon, nor fan in the room, no robes, and a standard Kings size bed, rooms quite small and the window which you had to keep open, opened onto noisy back street. For the price of £300.00 per night I was expecting a little more luxury, which is certainly not how I would describe this hotel, nor my stay here and the price did not even include breakfast!!!

The room was large and comfortable. The shower was great as well. She straightened up the room and vacuumed between nights, so that was unexpected, but appreciated. We would definitely stay again."
