"Great Hotel, excellent location y wonderful buffet breakfast "

"Breakfast had a small selection of food options, cleaned up the food area before time and before all guest left. I would not recommend breakfast here. Lounge area was acceptable and provided adult beverages as well. Receptionist front counter staff were very helpful and kind. Laundry service was acceptable and staff help to learn the process. "

"This place was 10/10. The staff was phenomenal, so kind and helpful. From the welcome drinks to the origami given to my little one helping us get Yamato luggage forwarding situated, they gladly went above and beyond. They have complimentary umbrellas to use when it rains. Rooms are so clean and modern, although no much space for your luggage, but the in-room washer/dryer was awesome. " We stayed with our family in kyoto for almost a week at the ACE. The rooms were big enough and it was a reasonably priced for a good location hotel in Kyoto. But to be honest, that was it. The staff is very very young and perhaps thats the reason that the customer service wasnt very good. When I asked for recommendations for things prior to coming to a foreign country, all I got were website recommendations and not actual specific tours. "This is one of my favorite hotels in Japan. We usually stay at the club level and the staff at the lounge are extremely helpful. The concierge service are wonderful. They food at the lounge is delicious and nicely presented. We definitely will be back to this hotel. "

"In the middle of Kyoto. Walkable to everything - nishika market and shopping areas. Rooms are smallish (normal for japan) but fixtures and furniture was lower quality. Not the best hotel but as with everything japanese it was clean and comfortable. There are other options in this range. "

"This is in an ideal location for walking around Gion and Pontocho and the Nishiki areas. The hotel has a yummy breakfast and the staff is very helpful. Bonus we got essential laundry done in their machines ( easy to use) . The rooms are small but functional. The hotel is on a peaceful street and minutes from anything you would need. 10/10 my family will stay there again"
