"The room we stayed in was too close to the main road. It is not suitable for sleeping. The noise was very loud so I could not sleep until midnight and was waken up by a truck at 3:00 am. I checked in early (2:40 pm) and asked for a quiet room due to my sleeping disorder. But I was told nothing available. The breakfast was good."
"Great place, bit of a shame new construction blocks SOME of the view but still has great views. Spacious. Comfortable bed, great shower. Very walkable to town. Would recommend."
"Centrally located near shops cafes and supermarket. Block away from Wanaka lake. Basic older style accommodation in a handicap room. No view in this room. Larger rooms available upstairs with views. Good bed and pillows. Warm with own split system."
"We had a great stay, despite our 1st room and 1st night being difficult as we were placed in a room directly in front of tennis courts and later to find out a basketball court! Which was used a lot in the evening.
Luckily we were able to be moved to another apartment which was MUCH nicer overall in terms of being in better shape and comfortable beds and also quiet."
"Awesome stay! Host Kaalene was so lovely and helpful. Room was perfect - two bedrooms, living room area and kitchen. 50 feet from park with lovely trees and walk down to water. Hot tub under the stars & free laundry made it an absolutely ideal place for our family of four to spend a few nights in Wanaka. Also rec. the wine tasting at Rippon."
"We booked a last minute 6 day stay in Wanaka, NZ. The property was excellent, the beds were very confortable and the living area and kitchen excellent. The support staff were fantastic. Best property rental we've had !"
"Just finished staying at Alpine View. Location was great as it is out of town by 5 min. Quite and a nice place to unwind after a long day. Was looking forward to the hot tub but found out there is none. Pictures used in write up are from the previous owner. Breakfast was nothing to write home about."
"We stayed for 5 nights, and while the accommodation did not include daily housekeeping, I was surprised that only half a roll of toilet paper was provided for our entire stay. I had to go out and purchase more myself, which I believe should be a basic item the hotel prepares in advance for guests. This small detail made the stay less convenient than expected."
"The art collection is exceptionally fascinating, my biggest concern was that I wouldn’t discover everything in the 5 days there! Delightful property!"
