"Excellent breakfast "

"Excellent staff, decent location. Our first two nights of a three night stay were faultless. On the third a wedding party arrived and the noise from the neighbouring room was astounding. They were not shouting but “drunk loud” and the inter room soundproofing was found out badly. Shame really. "

"Lovely hotel, lovely staff, floors were a bit creaky as wobbly but it's a old building to be expected! Nice simple room with everything you need. Was very very warm though but there was a fan provided which made it a bit better! Nice little touches with the show gels and things! Cleaning in the bathroom.was a bit poor, hairs and bit left around but sometimes it happens! Breakfast was fab too! All in all was a lovely stay and would definitely come back! "

"I like this hotel it's got a bit of character about it. The staff are friendly. The only complaint is that I stayed for two days and on the second day my room wasn't made up, for some reason this happened the last time that I stayed here. Despite this it won't stop me staying here again."

"The staff were very welcoming on arrival and managed to getbus checked in early. The room was spacious and the beds extremely comfy. The tea and coffee facilities were very basic and the kettle in the room was well used. Breakfast was very basic for the price and i think very expensive for what was on offer. Other than this the stay was nice and again the staff were all polite and helpful"

"The stay was perfect from start to end. We didn’t want to leave and commented how nice it would have been to stay longer. The grounds were well kept, in a beautiful setting with the lake and canal. The staff were all very polite, helpful and friendly. The hotel and rooms were very clean. The rooms were quite considering there was a wedding on during our stay. "The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was dated with damaged items. Shower was powerful and hot. Clean overall. There was lots of noise from doors banging shut and noise travels from.other rooms. I used this this whilst working away from home. It was good value @£63 a night. I would still.us again because in balnace there were more postives than negatives."
