"The hotel could definitely do with some renovation, but overall was comfortable and the breakfast was good. The staff are Beth friendly and helpful. We spent a long time before going to bed looking for the light switch, eventually found them behind the headboard of the bed, along with a phone, which seemed strange until we realised it was because they pushed two single beds together. The bathroom door handle came off in my hunsbsnd’s hand, but it was fixed very quickly once we let reception...

Only disappointment was my shower, as it was a multi head shower but the ‘rainfall’ standard overhead part didn’t work so I had to use the handheld head"

"The central hotel is a beautiful victorian mansion house. With palacial foyer and opulent dining area and bar. Views across surrounding countryside and out to sea spectacular. We were staying in one of the chalets which have a high standard of decor and comfort, each chalet is surrounded by a large garden and hence has a great deal of privacy. P.S. don't forget to say hello to the tortoise. "

"Stayed onroute to uni visit in Falmouth. Great hotel close to Truro (5 mins walk) Parking is possible right outside on the drive which given the location is really handy. Nice friendly staff / owner and rooms are good size. Breakfast provided in the dining room was great, better than many chain hotels in terms of quality and range."
