"Our room was clean and tidy if a little bit quirky. Steps up to bathroom/deep bath, making access to shower difficult. Steps up and down to room on corridor. Didn’t see that when booking?
Access to room denied until dead on 3 pm. We had been up from 3.30 am for the early flight from Manchester. We were able to drop off our luggage but even at 2.50 pm denied access - very pedantic receptionist who said our room wasn’t ready, then at the strike of 3.00 said it was. "I honestly cannot rate this hotel high enough, the rooms were absolutely spotless, the breakfasts were amazing and the staff. Well every single member of staff were pleasant, polite, courteous and helpful. The aircon was heaven sent in the heatwave, I had amazing sleep every night yet my brother in law in a budget hotel was tormented with heat. I will without a doubt stay there again and wont even contemplate looking at other hotels."

"Lovely hotel on the sea front. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Shops, restaurants, steam railway all within walking distance. The breakfast was excellent. The complimentary soft drinks and snacks were a nice touch. Room was adequate for a 1 night stay, lovely bathroom & comfortable bed. Would return again and recommend to others"
