"Our stay was wonderful. We arrived with our dog and we all had a welcome reception. Our roof was comfortable and had everything we needed. Housekeeping added a dog bed and bowls too. Our meal in the restaurant was fab and the staff were great. "

"The whole experience was excellent. Our room was huge with balcony, view of the golf field, because we paid for that particular room, quite pricey but it is a beautiful hotel so it is expected. The restaurant inside the hotel is cozy. Downside, the chef does not know how to cook medium rare steak, it was more on the medium well side. My wife ordered medium well, she got overcooked so the steak was hard. It's a shame because French are meant to be a good chef especially on a 5 star hotel. ...

The food is edible but really not what you would expect in France and is poor value for money. I had a quick look at the breakfast buffet but did not bother knowing that nothing is cooked on site and went to a local bakery (Boulangerie Maniez) instead. "This place deserves more than five stars. If I can give it 100 I would. I only wish that I found this place sooner, I would’ve booked an additional two nights instead of staying in Geneva. Our hotel in Geneva was the same price, and piled in comparison to the IMPECCABLE service and quality we’ve experienced here. We love the Sonade Suite! "The hotel and its surroundings are very beautiful. Great customer service. The main building is stunning. We stayed in an annex which wasn’t as nice and the carpet was stained, nevertheless the room was very comfortable and large. Bed is very comfortable. They offer a bottle of water and tea in the bedroom which is a nice touch. Bathroom was nice too with L’ Occitane toiletries. Unfortunately we left early and didn’t have the opportunity to have breakfast which was included. We recommend this...
