"Lovely hotel with excellent staff , comfortable rooms clean and cosy. Very good food in Cairns well presented and very tasty , and reasonably priced. Beautiful setting and very peaceful, stunning view from our room . Only downside was the cost of drinks especially soft drinks."

"First time at Malmaison with 2 small dogs. Room was a suite and only had booked a standard double room. Absolutely beautiful with bath and Jack and Jill shower facilities and sinks. Extra room to side with circular couch bed and flat screen TV . Staff very helpful. Unable to take dogs into Brasserie restaurant but are in for stairs bar and food brought to table. But more difficult at breakfast but eventually after explaining unable to up and down lift with breakfast we were allowed to sit in conference side room with dogs which was adjacent to buffet breakfast room. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay "
