Meikleour Arms is a unique inn on a large estate (hence "Arms," which refers to the coat of arms of the estate owner. Cozy inn, delicious meals (venison from the estate, for instance), lots of personality. We loved staying here, and fishing with Ian, the "ghillie" who put me onto a beautiful sea trout and taught me how to cast a spey rod.

We had a wonderful stay. Our accommodations were in the 2 bedroom 2 bath stable cottage. It was beautifully decorated and the bathrooms seemed to be new. The breakfast, included in your rate, was wonderful and the dinners were also wonderful with excellent service.

Stables 5 .Lovely cottage in a restored Steading set back from the road and close to the river Tay. Modern and very well appointed, with a small garden for dogs, warm and traditional - contemporary decoration with a french country feel. Wonderful bathroom and extremely comfortable bed.
