"A nice hotel within the old city walls with adjacent parking. The carpark was almost full by midday and could be a problem during busy periods. We were too early to check in but the receptionist gave recommendations where to have lunch. The room was prepaid and as expected a credit card was required for any extras, unfortunately the bar staff refused to allow drinks to be charged to the room – the management apologised for this when it was brought to their attention. The room (319) was spotless...

"We LOVED Hotel de l’Horloge. It is on a square with wonderful cafes and a carousel. The team at the hotel was fantastic. Our rooms were lovely and so well put together. Would stay here again happily ! "

"Nice, modern hotel with spacious rooms, good bathroom and comfortable beds. Small kitchenette, but a buffet breakfast is still provided for those that want it. However, the breakfast is rather sparse, mainly breads and a few slivers of cheese and meet. Yoghurt, but no fruit. Another note, is that the cheese and meats are not refilled, so if you are not once of the first at breakfast, you won't get anything but bread, coffee and orange juice, which is fresh squeezed and fantastic. "La piscine étant fermée je n'ai pu en profiter. Le hammam était cependant ouvert mais 1h après mon départ je n'ai pu en bénéficier ce qui est bien dommage alors que la veille à la réception on m'avait dit que cela était possible"

"Great location close to restaurants and sites. Parking is a little problematic as not at the Hotel, but approx a 3 min drive down some very narrow streets. Staff very friendly and helpful."

"I couldn’t find anything to complain about, which makes a change. I had the best breakfast and the best night’s sleep of my entire trip to the south of France and the man on reception tried to communicate properly with me. The TV worked and my room had a sofa for me to lounge about on. I’m going to look for a room here the next time I go to nimes."
