"Hotel is relatively new and presents well. Scratch beneath that ‘new car’ shine and you will see a few things wanting proper care. The pool area needs attention - not cleaned regularly. I went 24 hours apart to find the same broken wine glass and used towels from the day before. I also moved a small table to a more convenient place to find thousands of small ants scurrying from under the table. Yuk. Rooms were nice but my bed was made improperly and strangely my wife had to show the cleaning...

"I was a little dismayed at the service. The lady checking us in was very new. She was struggling to find our reservation and we very understanding. We've all been there. Not a big deal. At check out, we were charged $120 in fees that were not explained to us. Apparently, front desk was supposed to advise us of the amenities on the property, which did not occur. Our stay could have been better if we knew 1) in advance of the fees 2) the amenities that we could have enjoyed onsite. I did try...

"The Eliza Thompson house was absolutely perfect! It was in a great location where you can walk to the river and all the historic sites. It was the highlight of our trip as we relaxed every morning for a delicious breakfast in the beautiful and lush courtyard. Our room had a view of the courtyard and we couldn’t get enough of it. It made our stay in beautiful Savannah even that much better. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay there again!!"

"Wonderful property, you don't have to leave the property. Walkable to all of the shopping spots and restaurants. The only thing I would change is the plumbing. You pray a pretty Penny but the if you have to worry about flushing the toilet in your luxury hotel, it's not so luxury anymore. "
