"The website was quite complicated to use, especially when booking treatments and the pool.
The spa was generally good, but unfortunately they did not have the hot stone treatment available on the day I booked, which is the main treatment I normally go for. The restaurant was very good, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful.
However, the hotel does not have air conditioning, which was very uncomfortable during our stay on one of the hottest days in August. We were given one dusty fan...

"Automated checkin - no idea why as staff are there anyway.
Was pointed in direction of lists passing nothing but sweaty people coming and going from the gym.
Got in lift as instructed and came out into what looked like an abandoned building. Very shabby decor. Got to room. No aircon and far too hot to stay in. Opened window but got smell of cooking.
Turned around and left building asap and checked into other hotel nearby.
Village clearly undergoing some sort of renovation judging by the skips...
"Swimming pool used as leisure centre, fu of kids jumping from every corner and impossible to even stay in one place without getting splashed. Let's not talk about the green mould on the swimming pool tiles and floors, and how easy the fungus spread that way. Having making the choice of the hotel based on the amenities I am afraid was the biggest mistake."
"Really great value for money! Really nice rooms, with air con too! Great location, close to Oxford and many of the fab pubs and farm shops of the Cotswolds. Really friendly and helpful staff. Great amenities including Dyson hairdryer, ghd straighteners and a 24 hour coffee bar / front desk - great shout! Really would recommend and would certainly stay again!"
"Room was clean, slightly dated for the price you pay, you’d expect more for the Hilton chain. The staff I dealt with had been friendly. Onsite parking was good with a nice price of £3 a night, just remember that if you drive all the way around the back looking for a better space, you will need to then drive out of the hotel, down the dual carriageway and back again to re-enter the car park. At the time of my stay the access to loop back around the hotel car park was blocked off."
"This is our fifth or sixth stay at The Ormond; it is always very good. The rooms are great and well-sized, with good bathrooms. The price is excellent for an area that is on the higher end. Tetbury is a great place to visit as well."
"As a family we have stayed at this hotel a number of times now, as it is a great stop off point for us on the way to Cornwall.
The staff are very helpful and polite, the hotel itself is very clean and spacious, and the swimming pool, whilst being small, is a great attraction for us.
The only thing I would say is that if you want dinner in the restaurant then it is imperative that you reserve a table ahead of time, otherwise it will likely be fully booked."
"Bed is Stiffer than concrete. And hotel smells like food all day. And it is hot!… staff was great and helpful. Unfortunately room did not look like the pictures online for my reservation."
