The location is a little bit remote, although very close to the airport. There are just few shops, businesses, or restaurants that are within walking distance. "The staff and service there were fantastic. Very professional and helpful! A very good breakfast too. Short walk from a ferry stop, and very close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. It has a large jacuzzi/small pool (however you’d like to look at it) in a very nice courtyard too. Only negatives were for those of us who like to get a workout in on vacation, there is no fitness center (and it’s pretty much impossible to go for a run or bike ride in Venice, although you sure can walk a lot),...

"Overnight last-minute trip to Venice. Location to train station was a must. Hotel Carlton was just that. Service, room, breakfast, location & staff were amazing! Sitting outside people watching & the canal view AWESOME!!! Everything in walking distance & felt safe too!"
