"Lovely reception staff. Breakfast was much too crowded, as there were several tours in operation. The breakfast staff were not quick to clear tables. It gave me a feeling that the tours took precident over other guests. The bed was wonderful, the room was quiet. The soaking tub was perfect."
"Staff was helpful. Location is good. Lots on on-site parking. Beds and pillows and not comfortable.
Had to move rooms due to a major leak from the room above. Little to no compensation for the trouble. Lots of noise from hallways.
Nice bar and decent restaurant Greggs right next door. Rooms need to be updated. Parts of bathrooms are falling apart.
Pull outs beds are not comfortable."
"The bathroom was clean but the overall room was so dusty I had breathing problems. The breakfast was slim with the food not bing kept at proper temperatures. It was too expensive for quality of amenities. I left 2 days early even though it was prepaid. I lost over $1000. But I could not risk my health in that environment."
"Comfortable beds.....pillows could have been better though.. liked the extras we had in mini fridge..and replenished if you asked. A bit noisy in corridor late at night....midnight...doors banging!!!.. breakfast good...plenty of choices"
"No help with our luggage. The sink did not drain in the bathroom properly. The shower leak onto the floor of the bathroom. Ran out of hot water in the tub. Air conditioner made a loud noise every minute or so all night long.
Seems like they tried hard to make it boutique with some little items but missed on making the room functional."
"The hotel has limited parking spaces at the rear and it’s great they only charge if you find a spot. Rajeev at reception was every helpful in making us feel welcome. The location is 10 mins walk to the Bath city centre, so we left the car parked for our two days. If you have luggage you need to walk it from the car park to the hotel reception as there’s no back door entry. This means suitcases on a short distance of footpath. It’s not busy but good to know."
"We enjoyed a beautiful experience at this Hotel. Location and history was perfect. We had a delicious dinner that was prepared perfectly. Staff were very helpful for the short time we were there!"
"I stayed here for the Jane Austen festival and the staff were so helpful. I was traveling solo so they were kind enough to help me finish getting my dresses on. They were all so wonderful, the breakfast was tasty and it was a very lovely place to stay. I would not hesitate to stay there again."
